本刊扉页刊登的“美英报刊导读”系列,由北京大学周学艺教授主持,目的是使读者对西方媒体的背景、倾向及行文方式有所了解,以利于学好新闻英语。
The series of “The United States and the United States Newspapers and Periodicals Reading Guide” published on the title page of the magazine is presided over by Prof. Zhou Xueyi of Peking University. The purpose is to make readers understand the background, tendencies, and forms of writing in western media so as to facilitate the learning of news English.
