任询(1133-1204),字龙巌,又号南麓先生。元好问《中州集》:询,字君谟(一作君谋),易州军市人(今河北易县),生于虔州(今江西赣州)。父名贵,善画,喜谈兵。为人慷慨多大节,书为当时第一,画亦入妙品,评者谓画高于书,书高于诗,诗高于文。然王内翰子端独以其才具许之。正隆二年(1157年)进士,历省掾、大名总幕、益都都勾判官、北京盐使。课殿,降职泰州节厅。时无借力者,故连蹇不进。六十四致仕,优游乡里。家所藏法书名画数百轴,日夕展玩,不知老之将至。年七十卒。
