动漫是动画(Animation)和漫画(Comic)的合并简称。指动画与漫画的集合,因两者存在密切联系而产生。是只在汉语中存在的特有名词,其他国家地区没有类似表述。民间艺术与动画,有着古老渊源的承接关系。如民间皮影、走马灯、扯线木偶、手影等,是中国最早的“动画”。上个世纪出品的中国经典动画中民族魅力的体现都与民间艺术息息相关,如剪纸动画《渔童》、水墨动画《小蝌蚪找妈妈》、木偶动画《神笔马良》、《哪吒闹海》
