黄世芳是刚步入而立之年的装雕女艺术家,她选择了男性也有些生畏的金属工艺专业。大部分时间与制作室火焰、鎯头、铜版相依渡过。她用艰辛的工作与创作构思着自己的梦。她将自己对民俗传说与现代文化的理解变成一幅幅生动的铜板浮雕。在创作与敲打中充实自己的人生。 她认为民俗传统是中华民族艺术的根,有着广泛的民族代表性,有着丰富的营养与旺盛的生命力。因此她选择了民俗传说为作品的表现主题,以寻求传统与现代文化的结点,在继承中求得发展与成熟。她的多幅作品被选入《90年代中国美术作品集》,并为一些高级宾馆、酒店进行了大型铜浮雕壁画的设计制作受到各方的好评。 她对艺术有着难以尽言的爱。她讲“艺术是有生命的文化形式,看看自己所创作的作品,如同创造了一个生命,辛劳与痛苦则成为一种甘甜,心灵就得到了一次净化,精神就得到一种解脱与升华,这就是艺术”。

She has an indelible love for art. She said that “art is a living cultural form. When we look at the works we create, as creating a life, hard work and suffering become a sweetness, the mind is purified once and the spirit is given a relief and sublimation. This is art. ”
