新华社东京2月5日电日本自治医科大学的研究小组在美国《国家科学院学报》网络版上报告,他们发现了1种导致乳腺癌、皮肤恶性黑素瘤等多种癌症的基因,这一发现将促进研发以这种基因为靶点的新型抗癌药物。研究小组通过独立研发,观察1名30多岁的纤维肉瘤患者的癌细胞,结果发现基因RAC1发生变异后,作为癌症基因发挥作用,成为纤维肉瘤的主要致癌原因。除纤维肉瘤外,研究小组在恶性黑素瘤、部分乳腺癌以及胰腺癌等6种癌症中,也发现RAC1基因和与其相近的基因
Xinhua News Agency, Tokyo, February 5 The research group of the Autonomous Medical University of Japan reported on the online edition of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences that they found a gene that causes many cancers, such as breast cancer and skin malignant melanoma. Discovery will promote the development of a new anticancer drug targeting this gene. Through independent research and development, the team observed the cancer cells of a 30-year-old patient with fibrosarcoma. As a result, it was found that the gene RAC1 acts as a cancer gene and becomes a major oncogenic cause of fibrosarcoma. In addition to fibrosarcoma, the research team found that the RAC1 gene and its similar genes were also found in 6 kinds of cancer such as malignant melanoma, partial breast cancer and pancreatic cancer
