压力风在矿山巷道掘进甚至采煤工艺过程中已是不可缺少的常用动力源,每对矿井都设置压风机站,其运行时间每昼夜多在20小时以上,动力消耗比较大,噪音也很高。目前运行方式均采用人工逐台操作,在保护上除电气的过载、过流、无压释放、机械的断水装置和风包的安全阀外,其它都是些元件和仪表的监视,不能解决风量的及时调正和设备安全运行的根本问题,更谈不上改善工人劳动条件和提高风量。因此,改变人工操作为自动控制空压机的运行已成为亟待解决的新课题,解决这个新课题无疑将有较大的经济效益和深远的社会意义。
