天花粉是常用的中药,从中纯化的天花粉蛋白质(trichosanthin,TCS)已用于引产.药理学研究发现TCS可使胎盘滋养叶细胞变性坏死,绒毛间质纤维组织坏死、断裂,用于治疗恶性葡萄胎及绒癌也有良好疗效。对蛋白质的结构研究已有许多报道。苦瓜子蛋白(momocharin。MMC)在某些方面与天花粉蛋白质具有相似的作用。RNA及DNA是基因表达的基础,如果被降解破坏,则可导致一切表达产物
Trichosanthus is a commonly used traditional Chinese medicine. Trichosanthin (TCS) purified from it has been used for induction of labor. Pharmacological studies have found that TCS can degeneration and necrosis of placental trophoblast cells, and necrosis and rupture of villous interstitial fibrous tissue. It is used to treat malignant moles. And choriocarcinoma also has a good effect. There have been many reports on the structure of proteins. The momorcharin (MMC) protein has a similar effect with the trichosanthin protein in some aspects. RNA and DNA are the basis of gene expression and can cause all expression products if they are destroyed by degradation.
