遇油膨胀封隔器以特殊的可膨胀橡胶作为密封核心部件,将其硫化在基管外壁上,并在两段辅以固定装置,经介质浸泡后膨胀达到密封环空的目的 ,具有结构简单、安装方便、坐封可靠、全通径、多次膨胀自动补偿环空间隙及永久密封等优势。通过对其密封性能的影响因素研究,可知:其对地层水和酸不敏感;膨胀介质(原油/柴油)黏度越小,膨胀速度越快;井下温度越高,膨胀速度越快;橡胶体越厚,膨胀后外径越大,密封效果越好。在阿姆河气田现场应用结果表明,平均单井产能达到50×10~4m~3/d的高产气井在大斜度井/水平井Φ215.9mm裸眼段中应用遇油膨胀封隔器分段完井管柱,通过尾管悬挂方式一次入井,坐封后承压达到70MPa,满足工艺要求。橡胶材料优化、液压坐封和膨胀坐封相结合是解决遇油膨胀封隔器胀封速度慢、短胶筒封压能力低、长胶筒下入困难等问题的研究方向之一。
