We have found an electrical activation that activates smaller nerve fibers within the same nerve trunk to avoid activating large nerve fibers. The method stems from the fact that impulsive potential is blocked by smaller membrane hyperpolarizations in large nerve fibers for small nerve fibers. In our neurostimulation system, Q-current pulses that pass through a triode rooted electrode result in different potential impulses blocked by hyperpolarization of the membrane. Q.
