所谓比较就是在思维中确定所研究对象的相同点和不同点。比较是数学教学的必要手段,是学生理解和掌握知识的重要方法。在教学中适当地运用比较,有利于引导学生逐步分辨事物的本质特征和非本质特征。正如苏联著名教育家乌申斯基所说的那样:“比较是一切理解和思维的基础,我们正是通过比较来了解世界上的一切的。”由于我们要“了解”的内容不同,所以比较的方法各异,功能有别。现结合中学数学教学谈谈比较的方法及其功能。
