北京地区,一般在10月以后到来年四月份以前的这段时期,是果菜的淡季。市场上供应的鲜果菜都要靠温室生产。八月下旬以后,由于露地麦茬西红柿尚未过关、量也很少。9~10月中旬这段时间,市场几乎没有鲜西红柿。根据西红柿长势强,生长期长,根系发达,抗病性强的特点,选用无限生长类型的品种,采驭大架双行带状密植的方式,在加强肥水管理的基础上,实行“二次换头”的整枝技术,使西红柿供应达到了春提前,秋拖后,青熟果贮藏起来,可陆续供应到新年。
