儿童科学教育的最大误区是把成人的科学传授给儿童,要求儿童像成人那样掌握科学知识和科学思维。(一)我们知道,儿童的主体发育程度决定了他的世界里有他自己生命的影子,即他头脑中的世界是诗意的、童话的世界。对儿童的科学教育并不是要把诗意和童话从儿童的生活中驱除出去。实际上,科学教育也难以做到这一点。要求儿童像成人那样掌握科学知识与科学思维,这实际上是一种违反了儿童自身发展规律的拔苗助长行为,儿童不仅不会真正获得迅速发展,反而会受到伤害,甚至连正常的发展都难以保证。
The biggest misunderstanding of children’s science education is that adult science is taught to children and children are required to master scientific knowledge and scientific thinking as adults do. (1) We know that children’s subjective development determines the shadow of his own life in his world, that is, the world in his mind is a poetic and fairy tale world. Scientific education of children does not mean that poetry and fairy tales should be expelled from children’s lives. In fact, science education can hardly do this. The requirement of children to master scientific knowledge and scientific thinking as adults does in fact be a destructive act that violates the law of children’s own development. Children not only fail to achieve rapid development but will be harmed and even the normal development can hardly be guaranteed .
