测定土样中含水量的方法虽然很多,但能用简单的仪器在较短的时间內准确的测出土样中含水量的方法还很少。最普通的方法要算是烘箱法和酒精燃烧法。然而,烘箱法虽是精确,但设备较复杂,需要烘箱和1/1000天秤等。同时试验时间也较长(至少八小时),显然这种方法是不能及时的提出数据的。酒精燃烧法,虽然较快,但还需要分析天秤,同时只适用于砂土,得出的结果误差很大。
