电子系统级(ESL)设计概念的提出已经有十多年的历史,但到目前为止,它的应用还不是很普及,因为它仍然面临着很多挑战——设计工具、IP核、设计方法学,以及设计人员观念的转变……但是随着IC设计向90纳米、65纳米、甚至45纳米的不断发展,越来越多的人认识到它的重要性。IP核供应商,EDA工具提供商,以及芯片设计厂商都致力于这一领域,以使ESL设计早日得到广泛应用。日前,业界相关人士就ESL设计所面临的问题和它的应用前景等话题进行了讨论。
