本文认为非英语专业研究生英语阅读应采用整体教学法以适应学生的能力,满足其学习需求。整体教学法将整体文本作为阅读学习不可分割的整体,可有效地吸纳和内化语言规则,并形成语言再生能力。凭借这种教学方式,基于语言的探究能力、深入的认知能力和思辨能力才能在阅读的教学过程得以体现;研究生对篇章逻辑结构认知的需求、对文化的深度剖析的需求和跨文化意识培养的需求才能在教学过程中得以满足。
This paper argues that non-English majors should adopt the holistic teaching method in English reading to adapt to their abilities and meet their learning needs. The holistic teaching method takes the whole text as an indivisible whole of reading learning, which can effectively absorb and internalize the rules of language and form the language regeneration ability. With this teaching method, language-based inquiry ability, in-depth cognitive ability and speculative ability can be reflected in the teaching process of reading. The postgraduates’ understanding of the logical structure of the texts, the need for in-depth cultural profiling and cross-cultural awareness The needs of training can be satisfied in the teaching process.
