As we all know, wire cutting technology in the manufacture of mold has been widely used. But because it belongs to EDM, and accompanied by chemical reactions, the processing of the surface tissue changes. According to the research shows that: after cutting the mold compared with the grinding, the initial wear and tear to be much more serious, even chipped or cracked. In terms of accuracy and life expectancy still needs further improvement. This article will be aimed at the characteristics of the modified layer after wire cutting and its reduction measures are introduced.
