高速计算机使用的运算设备,必须高速集中传输大量的信息信号。由于同轴电缆在波阻抗、机械结构、价格等方面有许多弱点,因此制造了由许多平行导体组成的带状测试电缆。经证明,用平行导体作为双股或三股系统电线,能够获得高的波阻抗,和足够的信号噪声比(S/N),而且传输时间短,所以带状电缆适合传输上升时间短的脉冲信号。本文详细讨论了接收终端电压或相位与传输线主要常数之间的关系,终端电压或相位是根据输入条件而变化的。为了使这种带状电缆能在实际中应用,还制造了适合于此种电缆应用的两种连接器。
Computing equipment used in high-speed computers must transmit large amounts of information signals at high speed. Since coaxial cables have many weaknesses in terms of wave impedance, mechanical structure, price and the like, a ribbon test cable composed of many parallel conductors is manufactured.
