In a widely distributed group of epigenetic uranium deposits related spatially to the limonite strata, there is a mineralization that is superimposed on inter-layer oxidized rocks and associated with a combination of reductive remodeling. This mineralization is controlled by the fracture structure of the deposit, documented in the literature. This article explores an example of uranium mineralization with complex intergranular fractures that extend from the sedimentary cover into the crystalline basement.
