国际商用机器公司(IBM): 1979年恢复在中国的商业活动。1995年与中国政府签定捐款2500万美元支持我国16座城市、23所大学建立计算机技术中心。与天津大学合作建立的计算机新技术中心,已建成并对外开放。IBM已取得生产许可证,是国际电脑界第一个获得中国“国内生产许可证”的品牌。目前在中国已有6家合资公司,其中3家在深圳。IBM总公司在北京、上海、广州、沈阳设有分公司。在中国的雇员达1000多人。
International Business Machines Corporation (IBM): Resumes business activities in China in 1979. In 1995, it signed a donation of US$25 million with the Chinese government to support 16 cities and 23 universities in China to establish computer technology centers. The new computer technology center established in cooperation with Tianjin University has been established and opened to the outside world. IBM has obtained a production license and is the first brand in the international computer industry to obtain China’s “domestic production license.” Currently there are 6 joint ventures in China, of which 3 are in Shenzhen. The IBM head office has branch offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenyang. There are more than 1,000 employees in China.
