数学是研究现实世界的数量关系和空间形式的科学,是人类思维的自由创造。数学学习方法指导,是“学会学习”的一个重要组成部分,是数学教学理论研究和实践中的一个重要课题。学生不能只掌握学习内容,还要检查、分析自己的学习过程,对如何学、如何巩固,进行自我检查、自我校正、自我评价。学法指导的目的,就是最大限度地调动学生学习的主动性和积极性,激发学生的思维,帮助学生掌握学习方法,培养学生学习能力,为学生发挥自己的聪明才智提供和创造必要的条件。“教会学生学习”已成为当今世界流行的口号。学会学习就是主动学习和善于学习。它不仅指学习者学习目的明确、学习动机强烈、学习态度积极,学习中能克服困难并能持之以恒坚持;更强调学习者要善于运用灵活多样的学习方法和策略,将思考与创新精神贯穿于具体的学习活动及整个学习过程中,从而实现有效学习和创造性学习。
