词汇在英语学习中起着基础性且关键性的作用。但是现有的传统教学方式使得学生的消极词汇远远大于积极词汇,因此如何将消极词汇转化为积极词汇成为学者研究的一项重要课题。本文提出了通过附带词汇学习来促进词汇掌握的方法,同时还探讨了词汇的频次问题。作者着重介绍了通过阅读来促进附带词汇学习的方法和注意事项。最后,作者强调不能忽视直接词汇学习,应该将二者结合起来才能使学生最大量地掌握词汇,并且有利于将消极词汇转化为积极词汇。
Vocabulary in English learning plays a fundamental and key role. However, the existing traditional teaching methods make the negative vocabulary of students far greater than the active vocabulary, so how to translate negative words into positive words has become an important issue for scholars to study. This article proposes ways to promote vocabulary mastery through vocabulary learning, while also addressing the frequency of vocabulary. The author focuses on methods and considerations for facilitating vocabulary learning through reading. Finally, the author emphasizes that direct vocabulary learning can not be neglected, and the combination of the two should enable students to master the vocabulary in the greatest amount and help translate negative words into positive words.
