Objective To observe the curative effect of different doses of triclabendazole on the infection of Schistosoma penguinioides in rats, and to explore its dose-effect relationship and optimal dosage. Methods Sixty SD rats were randomly divided into experimental group (A, B, C) and control group D, with 15 rats in each group. Rats were infected with metacercariae of T. claviformis by intraperitoneal injection. Rats in groups A, B and C on day 39 were treated with 50, 100 and 200 mg / (kg · d) × 4 d respectively, Rats were sacrificed on days 1, 15 and 22 after the treatment, and the parasites were recovered. And counted to calculate the pest rate and the worm reduction rate. The worm body weight was weighed and compared with the control group for statistical analysis. Results On the first day after treatment, there was no significant difference between the rate of insect pest and the wet weight of parasites (P> 0.05). After the end of treatment, the pest killing rate, Body weight and wet weight of the control group, the difference was statistically significant, low, medium and high dose groups, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01), while the low dose group compared with the control group, the difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05). On the 22nd day after treatment, there were significant differences between the pest rate, the worm reduction rate and the worm wet weight (P <0.01). CONCLUSION Trichlorobenzerazole has a significant effect on the infection of Schistosoma penguinis in rats, but its insecticidal activity is slow. With the prolongation of treatment, the effect of trichlorobenzole gradually increases, showing obvious dose-response relationship. The optimal dose About 200mg / (kg · d) or so.
