1931年1月上旬,毛泽东在江西宁都县北端一个偏僻的山村宿营,一天夜晚,他怀着极其兴奋的心情,回味着红军在龙冈战斗中活捉张辉瓒的情景。他浮想联翩,诗兴大发,在一根灯蕊的青油灯下,借着微弱的灯光,填写了脍炙人口的词篇——《渔家傲》:“万木霜天红烂漫,天兵怒气冲霄汉;雾满龙冈千嶂暗,齐声唤,前头捉了张辉瓒。”上阕填毕,毛泽东起身抽烟,被他的秘书古柏看见,高兴得连声叫好,赞不绝口。于是这篇不朽之作,便在红军中广为传诵。
