近年对柑园土壤作了一些调查,发现柑桔对土壤有一定的要求,特别是高产稳产的柑园.据调查认为,柑桔产量的高低.风味的浓淡,不仅与土壤养分特性有关.而且与地形、土层厚薄、土壤母质、水湿状况等也有密切的关系.为此,最近对广东省杨村柑桔场土壤进行了较系统的较深入的调查.并试拟对柑园土壤肥力分级进行研究,其目的是为了发展柑桔生产寻找最佳的柑园土壤,同时对现有坡地柑园土壤作出评价,以便更好地利用丘陵红壤坡地,加速柑桔生产的发展,满足人民生活的需要.
