为了了解大学英语后续教学情况,本文作者在宁波市的三所高校就“大学英语后续教学与学习情况”进行了详细的调查,了解到目前大学英语教学中受考试影响的现象仍然存在,因而出现了大学高年级阶段的英语教学严重不足,从而导致学生到大学毕业时英语水平下降,不能适应社会对于英语能力的需求。鉴于此,本文提出了一些有益的建议,呼吁重视大学英语的后续教学,使学生更好地适应社会对于英语的需求。
In order to understand the follow-up teaching of college English, the author conducted a detailed investigation on “College English Follow-up Teaching and Learning” in three colleges and universities in Ningbo City, and learned that the phenomenon of being influenced by the examination still exists in college English teaching at present, As a result, there is a serious shortage of English teaching in the senior stage of the university, which leads to the decline of the students’ English proficiency when they graduate from college and their inability to meet the needs of the community for English proficiency. In view of this, this article put forward some useful suggestions, calling for emphasis on the follow-up teaching of college English so that students can better adapt to the community’s needs for English.
