英国因其独特的地理环境,有着悠久的海盗历史与海洋文学传统。古往今来,英国一大批作家都有着难以割舍的海洋情结。近年来,国内学者关于英国海洋文学的研究相对较多,但大多围绕海洋小说展开(高艳丽,2012;郭海霞,2012;焦小婷,2010),而且仅仅揭示其表达的殖民思想,并未上升到海盗文化这一西方殖民思想根源的高度,忽略了海盗文化与海洋文学两者之间的关系。
Because of its unique geographical environment, Britain has a long history of pirate and maritime literature. Throughout the ages, a large number of British writers have a hard-to-break ocean complex. In recent years, domestic scholars mostly studied the British maritime literature. However, most of them focused on maritime novels (Gao Yanli, 2012; Guo Haixia, 2012; Jiao Xiaoting, 2010), and only revealed their expressed colonialism and did not rise to pirates The height of culture, the root of Western colonialism, ignores the relationship between pirate culture and maritime literature.
