近日,自治区老龄委维权部肖宝振部长、乌鲁木齐市老年基金会副会长赵希武等同志受上级领导委托,专程前往新疆老年病医院,探望和慰问在该院住院的多名离退休老干部。新疆老年病医院组建于上个世纪90年代。院领导带领全体医护人员白手起家,艰苦创业,走过近20年风雨历程。如今,该院已经发展成为一座拥有面积2万多平方米,病床500余张的全疆唯一的老年病专科医院。该院本着关爱老年社会,关注老年健康事业的宗旨,先后购置大型螺旋CT机。
In recent days, Senior Minister Xiao Baozhen of the Autonomous Ageing Committee and the Deputy Chairman of Urumqi Senior Citizen Foundation Zhao Xiwu have been entrusted by senior leaders to make a special trip to the Xinjiang Geriatric Hospital to visit and sympathize with the many retired veterans who were admitted to the hospital. The Xinjiang Geriatric Hospital was established in the 1990s. The leadership of the hospital led the entire medical staff to start from scratch, work hard, and walk through the past 20 years. Today, the institute has developed into a unique geriatric specialist hospital with an area of more than 20,000 square meters and more than 500 beds. With the purpose of caring for the aged society and paying attention to the health of the elderly, the hospital has purchased large-scale spiral CT machines.
