中医是一门古老的医学科学,其理论深奥晦涩,不易把握;其用语多来自经典著作,有些术语至今解释不一,中医英译的难度可想而知。目前,无论是国内还是国外的中医翻译作品均存在着译文文理不通、逐词死译、晦涩难懂等现象。因此,如何准确地将中医理论、实践与科研成果介绍到国外,使国外学者能正确理解和接受,促进中医国际化是中医界面临的重要问题之一。文章通过将奈达的“动态对等”翻译理论引入中医英译中,并对动态对等原则进行了详细的探讨,阐述了这一原则在增强中医英译的客观性、可读性及实用性方面的作用。
Traditional Chinese medicine is an ancient medical science, its theory esoteric obscure, not easy to grasp; most of its terminology from the classics, some terminology so far explained different, the difficulty of English translation of Chinese medicine can be imagined. At present, both Chinese and foreign translations of Chinese medicine have phenomena such as unreasonable translation of the texts, death by words, and obscure understandings. Therefore, how to introduce TCM theory, practice and scientific research abroad so that foreign scholars can understand and accept correctly and promote the internationalization of Chinese medicine is one of the most important issues that Chinese medicine practitioners are facing. By introducing Nida ’s translation theory of “dynamic equivalence” into English translation of traditional Chinese medicine, the article discusses the principle of dynamic equivalence in detail and expounds the principle of enhancing the objectivity and readability of English translation of Chinese medicine And practical aspects of the role.
