Just after the Spring Festival, the leaders of the National Electric Power Company’s An Yun Department and related experts went to Yunnan to perform “no-attendance” (less-person duty) and first-rate inspection and acceptance of the Lubuge and Manwan Hydropower Plants. By listening to the power plant self-inspection report, equipment environment review, regulations and operation records inspection, equipment operation and troubleshooting evaluation, the last two plants passed the “class power plant” acceptance with a high score. The Lubuge Hydroelectric Power Plant is the first power plant in China that has used foreign capital for some projects and has been built using international bidding.
