1985年2月我局在广州市郊三元里乡创办全国第一个由农民代办经营的电报电话营业点,由此走出一条依靠社会力量发展电信营业网点的新路。至今,由集体、个人代办的电信营业点,已达21个,比电信局30多年来自办自营的14个营业点还多7个。通过实践证明,以代办方式发展电信服务网点是加快电信建设的一条有效途径,主要有三个方面的优点。一、办点速度快。我局自办一个营业点,往往因场地、资金、人员等问题不能解决而好事难成。而三元里代办点,从谈判到开业,只用53天,登峰乡点仪用24天。由于承办者多是办点所在地的集体企业,他们往往已有现成的场地,只要装修后便可
February 1985 In our office in Sanyuanli Township, a suburb of Guangzhou, our bureau set up the first telegraph and telephone business place operated by peasants in our country. From this we can find a new way of relying on social forces to develop telecommunications outlets.
