一、概况外加电流阴极保护技术是继牺牲阳极阴极保护之后,发展起来的更为有效的新的防腐蚀方法。它的研究和应用起始于五十年代的初期。现在已经很成熟而广泛地应用于舰船及地下、海洋等设施。据资料介绍国外已广泛应用在海军舰艇和大、中型船舶,直至超大型油轮。美国海军的全部预备役舰队的舰艇和很多现役舰队的舰艇都采用外加电流阴极保护;苏联大、中型船舶使用自动阴极保护装置;英国新造船舶中,大约40%是安装外加电流阴极保护的,其中,Morgan一家公司,至一九七四年底已经安装五百多艘船舶;日本防蚀公司安装了大、小船舶七百多艘;加拿大安装的大型船舶也达七百多艘;西德AEG公司安装的船舶也有一百多艘。
