目的:探讨鼻咽癌肿瘤组织中信号转导和转录激活因子3(STAT3)的表达与鼻咽癌放疗效应的关系,评估STAT3在预测鼻咽癌放疗效应中的价值,为制订个性化的治疗方案提供理论依据。方法:对40例放射敏感和28例放射抵抗的鼻咽癌患者放疗前肿瘤组织中STAT3的蛋白表达情况应用免疫组织化学法进行检测,对STAT3的表达强度及其与放疗效应的关系进行分析,对STAT3在预测鼻咽癌放疗效应的价值进行评估。结果:STAT3在鼻咽癌中总的阳性表达率为100%。在放射治疗敏感的鼻咽癌组织中,9例(22.5%)患者STAT3表达强阳性,31例表达弱阳性;在放射抵抗组,21例(75%)患者STAT3表达强阳性,7例表达弱阳性,两组间表达强度STAT3的差异有统计学意义(χ2=18.414,P<0.01)。根据STAT3阳性表达预测鼻咽癌放疗抵抗,敏感性为75.00%,特异性为77.50%,准确率为76.47%,阳性预测值为70.00%,阴性预测值为81.58%,假阳性率为30.00%,假阴性率为18.42%。结论:鼻咽癌肿瘤组织中STAT3的表达强度与肿瘤放射抵抗有关,STAT3对预测鼻咽癌放疗效应有一定的价值,并据此制订出个性化的治疗方案。
Objective: To investigate the relationship between the expression of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) and the radiotherapy effect of nasopharyngeal carcinoma in nasopharyngeal carcinoma and to evaluate the value of STAT3 in predicting the radiotherapy effect of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods: The protein expression of STAT3 in 40 radiosensitive and 28 radiosensitive nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients before radiotherapy was detected by immunohistochemistry. CONCLUSIONS: The expression of STAT3 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma is related to tumor radioresistance. STAT3 has certain value in predicting the radiotherapy effect of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Based on it, we can draw up a personalized treatment plan.
