本讲讨论钢筋混凝土柱的延性设计。如前所述,这里所介绍的抗震设计是着重在延性方面的,亦即首先确定结构的荷载及其作用情况并按其内力大小进行设计,同时要保证其处于延性状态。新西兰规范中强调的是用构造措施来达到所要求的延性。因为要精确地确定出地震荷载是非常困难的,故此从构造措施着手,使结构在强震作用下不致发生脆性破坏。
This lecture discusses the ductile design of reinforced concrete columns. As mentioned above, the seismic design described here is focused on the ductility, that is, the load of the structure and its effect are determined firstly and the internal force is used to design it, and at the same time, it must be in a ductile state. The New Zealand code emphasizes the use of structural measures to achieve the required ductility. Because it is very difficult to accurately determine the seismic load, construction measures are taken to ensure that the structure does not undergo brittle failure under strong earthquakes.
