苏州、无锡、常州一带在历史上出过不少画画大家,尤其是在我家乡常州,从近代数过来有过徐悲鸿、吴大羽、刘海粟、谢稚柳,还有俞云阶先生等,个个至尊。但在今天的大都市上海,常州籍的画家很少,能听得到的一个是周本义先生,一个是我,还有一个就是四年前从常州老家投奔来沪上的刘伟光了。我和伟光认识,是在一个很时尚的派对上,经热心的雍和太太高琳(也是常州老乡)介绍,彼此慢慢熟悉起来。其实在我认识伟光的时候,他已靠他的画在 Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou have made a lot of painstaking efforts in history.
