甜菜枯萎病(暂定名)自1957年在吉林省农科院试验地里首次发现以来,近几年已成为吉林省主要甜菜产区常见的一种严重病害,并有逐渐加重趋势。轻者对产质量有较大影响,重者几乎绝产,已成为甜菜生产上急待解决的病害问题。为此,1976年对我省五个县进行发病调查,平均发病率在59.7%。其中严重地块发病率高达98%;1977年调查的十个县平均发病率在36.5%,其中严重地块高达80.1%;1978年调查三个县平均发病率31.3%,其中严重地块高达68%;1983年调查六个县112块甜菜地平均发病率是27.49%,其中严重地块高达96%。甜菜罹病后,一般使甜菜块根减产20—30%,重者达70%以上,产糖量减少20%左右,重者达50%,甚至绝收。从各地调查看,甜菜枯萎病表现的症状均趋一致,其特征是病叶褐变坏死,叶缘向里卷缩。发病初期,叶片自叶缘
Beet wilt disease (tentative name) Since its first discovery in the experimental field of Jilin Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 1957, it has become a common serious disease in the major sugar beet producing areas in Jilin Province in recent years and has gradually increased.
