The topic of “Research on Rectal Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine” completed by the Director of the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Jiangxi Provincial Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine was recently approved by experts in traditional Chinese medicine in Beijing, Sichuan, and Jiangxi. Rectal administration of traditional Chinese medicine has existed for a long time, but lack of further scientific clarification, there is a certain degree of blindness in clinical application. This topic starts from two aspects of pharmacodynamics and chemical composition. Through a large number of experiments, it has been confirmed that rectal administration of traditional Chinese medicine compound and single herb is faster than oral administration, and its bioavailability is high and its efficacy is high.
