“三个代表”的重要论述具有重大的现实意义和深远的历史意义。“三个代表”各要素之间相互依存,不可分割,共同构成了我们党的立党之本、执政之基、力量之源。先进文化顺应历史潮流,反映时代精神,代表未来方向,是人类文明进步的结晶,是推动社会前进的精神动力。坚持先进文化的前进方向离不开教育事业的充分发展及其功能作用的充分发挥。社会主义教育的培养目标,是把受教育者培养成为德、智、体、美诸方面全面发展的有理想、有道德、有文化、有纪律的社会主义建设者和接班人。这个培养目标体现了社会主义教育的性质和任务,与先进文化的前进方向是统一的。建设有中国特色社会主义是全新的事业,为实现教育的培养目标提出了新的要求,提供了新的环境。因此,应解放思想,实事求是,开创全新的育人局面。
The important exposition of “three represents” is of great realistic significance and far-reaching historic significance.
