翻译的基本单位主要有三种提法,句本位,段落本位和篇章本位。本文对这三种观点都做了分析,认为句本位的翻译将影响译文的质量和可读性,篇章本位的提法过于笼统,不具备可行性。段落作为翻译本位,充分考虑了汉、英两种语言句法上的差异。本文通过忠实性检验,证明以段落为基本单位的调整不会损害译文的忠实性。 The basic unit of translation mainly has three kinds of reference, sentence standard, paragraph standard and chapter standard. This article analyzes all these three views and holds that the sentence-based translation will affect the quality and readability of the translation, and the formulation of chapter-based standard is too general and not feasible. Paragraphs as a translation standard, give full consideration to the differences between Chinese and English syntax. Through the loyalty test, this paper proves that the adjustment of the paragraph as the basic unit will not damage the loyalty of the translation.
