合点并校出现资金缺额,群众纷纷解囊捐款,总额达百万之多;镇党委、政府决定加快小城镇建设步伐,群众纷纷投资支持,总投资达千万之巨;镇工业园配套资金不足,8个私营企业老板投资1600万元主动为外资企业提供配套……群众由不理解到反过来帮助政府解决难题,这个转变是山东省胶州市胶东镇多年来致力于思想政治工作创新的结果。面对出现的新情况、新问题,这个镇党委、政府一直努力开拓创新,使思想政治工作紧跟时代发展步伐,与群众的思想脉搏同频共振,大大增强了思想政治工作的实际效果。2000年8月,该镇被授予“青岛市思想政治工作先进单位”。

Faced with the new situation and new problems that emerged, the party committee and government in this town have been making every effort to blaze new trails, keeping the ideological and political work in line with the pace of the development of the times and resonating with the pulse of the people’s ideals and greatly enhancing the actual effect of ideological and political work. In August 2000, the town was awarded “Advanced Unit of Ideological and Political Work in Qingdao City.”
