为了促进本国工程、机械和建筑工业的发展,马来西亚政府在日前公布的1998年度财政预算案中决定,提高建筑材料和重型建筑机械的进口税,新税率已于10月下旬生效。
In order to promote the development of its own engineering, machinery and construction industries, the Malaysian government decided in the 1998 budget speech released recently that the new duty on building materials and heavy construction machinery should be increased by the end of October.
