Many collectors and international institutions collect these Works.
She is good at seizing inspiration from daily life. She often regards her semi-finished products as the canvas on the shelf of the painters. Through daubing and baking, she creates the veins of her own style and gets the artistic effects that she has expected. From her works, we can appreciate the red rocks, steep peeks, endless mesas and deep Grand Canyon.
Jason Hess, a famous artist of ceramic arts, is the dean and associate professor of the department of Ceramic Arts in the University of Arizona in America. Most of his works are baked in the Chai kiln, leaving many most intriguing traces. The vicissitudes, the heaviness and the power of red color, all of them are the charm of firewood baking. In manufacture, Jason Hess adopts the method of dragging the adobe into shape. The techniques are very exquisite. His works are lined up by many monomers, whose forms are of great visual impact.
In 1971, Linda M Speranza was enrolled in the state college of Ceramic of the University of Alfred in New York. After she got the Bachelor's degree for fine arts in 1975, she established her special production studio. In 1983, she got the Master's degree in the University of Arizona. Now she is the professor and the person in charge of the department of Ceramic Arts in the public college of Maysa.
She is good at the study of the ceramic glaze. Her works display a beautiful warm color, which reflects a strange scene in the desert surroundings. This is what Arizona State impresses her and she further bestows more enthusiasm and pride to this scene.
