全国焦炭数山西,山西焦炭数介休。介休市已成为中国闻名遐尔的焦炭之都。 介休地处全国能源重化工基地山西省晋中盆中的南端,辖6镇14乡,251个行政村。南同蒲、介孝两条铁路线在境内交汇分道,大同至运城、太原至三门峡两条公路贯穿南北,境内有5个火车站和14条铁路专用线。介休火车站是南同蒲线上的一级客货站。

There are 5 railway stations and 14 railway lines in the territory. Jiexiu Railway Station is a passenger and cargo station on the South Tongpu Line.
