大肠癌是我国常见恶性肿瘤之一,发病和死亡率列在恶性肿瘤中的第5～8位,长江以南地区日本血吸虫病流行,结肠、直肠癌较华北地区为多。浙江省在血吸虫病流行的嘉善县十个公社初步调查发现结肠、直肠癌发病率为22.36/10万,死亡率为18.33/10万,占恶性肿瘤死亡的首位,在美国估计结、直肠癌死亡率仅次于肺癌。在大肠癌患者中发病部位在乙状结肠、直肠和肛管者占2/3以上,如Falterman等所报告的2313例患者2466个
Colorectal cancer is one of the most common malignancies in China. Incidence and mortality are among the 5th to 8th among malignant tumors. Epidemic of schistosomiasis in the south of the Yangtze River and colon and rectal cancer are more common than in North China. A preliminary survey of communicable schistosomiasis in ten communes in Jiashan County, Zhejiang Province found that the incidence of colon and rectal cancer was 22.36 per 100 000, and the mortality was 18.33 per 100 000. It accounted for the first death of malignant tumors and estimated the death of colorectal cancer in the United States. The rate is second only to lung cancer. In patients with colorectal cancer, the incidence of sigmoid colon, rectum and anal canal accounted for more than two-thirds, as reported by Falterman et al.
