兴山县地处鄂西山区,位于长江三峡北岸,是三峡库区县之一。全县辖13个乡镇、251个行政村,总人口18.9万人。全县共有医疗卫生机构306个,其中,县直医疗卫生单位7个,12个乡镇卫生院,29个地名卫生所,217个村卫生室,其它医疗机构41个。全县共有各级各类卫生人员1245人,其中村级卫生人员447人。 我县初保工作从1995年开始全面实施,1997年9月,经省初级卫生保健委员会评审为“初保达标合格县”。我们的做法是: ①县、乡两级政府逐年增加卫生事业投入,近3年总投入1188万元,占财政支出的6.75％,有效地保证
