  A sweet disorder in the dress
  Kindles in clothes a 1)wantonness.
  A 2)lawn about the shoulders thrown
  Into a fine distraction;
  An erring lace, which here and there
  Enthralls the crimson 3)stomacher;

  Ribbons to flow confusedly;
  A winning wave (deserving note)

  A careless shoestring, in whose tie I see a wild civility;

  Is too precise in every part.

  赏析
  Robert Herrick(罗伯特·赫里克,1591—1674),英国“骑士派诗人(Cavalier Poets)”,其诗作大多关于宫廷中的调情作乐和骑士为君杀敌的荣誉感,不过他也创作了不少清新的田园抒情诗和爱情诗。他给后世留下约1400首诗,被收录在《雅歌》(1647)和《西方乐土》(1648)两部诗集中。其作品风格优雅、热情,并因其精心雕琢的语言而闻名。
  美,从来就无定式可依。整洁精致无疑是一种美,但凌乱繁杂又何尝不是呢?正如奥黛丽·赫本的端庄和梦露的妖娆,莲花的静默和牡丹的摇曳,原本就像是硬币的两面,各领风骚。诗人看惯了盛装拘谨的宫廷贵妇,那一点点有心或是无意的不拘和错乱,是否更增添了一丝自然不做作的风情,让人在会心微笑之时怦然心动呢?美,不在于刻意的艺术里,而在于有心人的眼中!
  值得一提的是,诗人正处于巴洛克(Baroque)艺术风行的时代,巴洛克一词本身就有“俗丽凌乱”之意,相较于文艺复兴时期所提倡的过于精准的对称和透视法,风格夸张、繁琐,充满了动感,因此诗人的这首诗也表达了对这一风格的礼赞。
