According to the arrangement of the railway technology cooperation plan between China and Japan, the Sino-Japanese railway technology exchange forum was held in Beijing from January 10 to January 18, 1990. The meeting was hosted by the Foreign Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Railways and the Transport Bureau. Six Japanese experts attended the meeting, respectively from the Japan Railway Overseas Cooperation Association, Japan’s Ministry of Transport, the East Japan Railway Company and the West Japan Railway Company. More than 30 representatives from departments of production, research, teaching and management in the roadside of China attended the forum.
