通过对90年代至今《中国翻译文学史》以及研究翻译家穆木天的论文和专著的考察,可以发现,“翻译家穆木天”仍是一个“被遗忘”的角落。而之所以如此,笔者以为原因有几:其一,穆木天翻译成果数量庞大、类型繁杂、范围广阔;其二,穆木天1957年之后的翻译成果不为学界所知;其三,穆木天1957年之前的翻译成果由于诸多原因如今不再畅销,流通。然而,“翻译家穆木天研究”却是一个有着重要意义的课题:其一,研究翻译家穆木天可以客观评判穆木天在中国现代文学史、中国翻译文学史上的地位;其二,研究翻译家穆木天有助于研究诗人穆木天;其三,研究翻译家穆木天,对于研究外国文学与中国现代文学之深层关系、研究中国现代翻译文学有着重要的意义。故而,希望精通英语、法语、日语、俄语这些语种的学界人士可以通力合作,希望穆木天晚年翻译手稿能尽快出版,希望出版界能够再重印穆木天的译本,从而推动翻译家穆木天的研究,让“翻译家穆木天”不再是一个“被遗忘”的角落。
Through the study of the history of Chinese translation literature from the 1990s to the present and the research on monographs and monographs by Mu Mutian, we can find that Mu Mutian is still a forgotten corner. And the reason why, I think for several reasons: First, the Mu Mutian translation results in a large number of complex types, a wide range; Second, Mu Mutian translation after 1957 is not known to the academic world; Third, Mu Mutianyu’s translations before 1957 are no longer popular and are in circulation. However, “Translator Mu Mutian Studies” is an issue of great significance. First, Mu Mutian, a translator of translation studies, can objectively judge Mu Mutian’s position in the history of modern Chinese literature and Chinese translation literature. Second, the study of Mu Mutian, a translator, helps to study Mu Mutian. Thirdly, Mu Mutian, a translator, is of great significance for studying the deep relationship between foreign literature and modern Chinese literature and for studying Chinese modern translated literature. Therefore, it is hoped that academic professionals proficient in English, French, Japanese and Russian can cooperate with each other and hope that Mu Mutian’s translation of manuscripts can be published as soon as possible, hoping the publishing industry will be able to re-print Mu Mutian’s translation so as to promote Mu Mutian The study, so that “translator Mu Mu days ” is no longer a “forgotten ” corner.
