美国真空学会第38届年会于1991年11月11日至11月15日在西海岸北部的西雅图市举行。西雅图市环境优美、风景秀丽,人口已超过110万。参加会议的代表近3000人,参加会议进行交流的学术论文970篇。会议主会场设在华盛顿州商贸中心大楼。用大幅广告对本次会议进行宣传。会议期间还举行了真空仪器和产品展售。会议安排了4次专题性综合介绍。参加会议的学术论文分为12个小组进行交流(分为口头宣读和张贴式交流两种情况)。论文分布情况如表1所示。
The 38th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Vacuum was held in Seattle, north of the West Coast, from November 11 to November 15, 1991. Seattle has a beautiful environment and beautiful scenery with a population of more than 1.1 million. Nearly 3,000 representatives attended the conference, and 970 academic papers were exchanged for participation in the conference. The main venue of the conference is located in the Washington State Commerce and Trade Building. Promote this meeting with big advertisements. During the meeting also held a vacuum instrument and product sales. The meeting arranged four thematic synthesis. The academic papers participating in the conference are divided into 12 groups for communication (divided into oral presentation and posted communication). The paper is distributed as shown in Table 1.
