概述从按纵向学科建设安全技术专业到按横向学科建设安全工程专业的缘由。从工业安全技术到安全工程专业的转变与实践经过，对安全工程专业的培养目标及课程体系进行了探讨。提出了安全工程专业必须在安全科学理论指导下，并按横向学科进行建设，才能培养出社会所需要的安全工程专业人才的见解
An overview is given of the reasons for building safety technology from vertical disciplines to building safety engineering disciplines according to horizontal disciplines. From the industrial safety technology to safety engineering change and practice after the safety engineering professional training objectives and course system were discussed. Put forward that the safety engineering profession must be under the guidance of safety science theory, and according to the horizontal discipline construction, in order to cultivate the social safety engineering professionals needed insights
