The Provisions on the Handling of Equipment Accidents in Industrial Enterprises in Guangzhou, which have been approved by the Municipal People’s Government, are hereby promulgated and will come into force on August 1, 1998. Chapter I General Provisions Article 1 In order to strengthen the handling of equipment accidents in industrial enterprises in the city and ensure the safe operation of equipment, these Provisions are formulated in accordance with the “Regulations for the Management of Equipment for Industrial Enterprises with Private Ownership” and related regulations of the State Council and in the light of the actual conditions of the municipality.
